Ingredients for - Slow Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage

1. Baby carrots - ½ pound
2. Small yellow potatoes (such as Dutch Yellow® Pee Wee potatoes) - ½ pound
3. Sweet onion, cut into bite-size pieces - 1
4. Water - 4 cups
5. Corned beef brisket with spice packet - 4 ¾ pounds
6. Onion Powder - 3 tablespoons
7. Garlic powder - 3 tablespoons
8. Irish stout beer (such as Guinness®) - 1 bottle
9. Cabbage, quartered and leaves separated - 1 medium head

How to cook deliciously - Slow Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage

1. Stage

Spread baby carrots, potatoes, and onion into the bottom of a slow cooker crock. Pour water over the vegetables.

2. Stage

Season the lean side of the corned beef brisket with onion powder and garlic powder. Set seasoned brisket onto the vegetables with the fatty side facing upwards. Pour beer over the brisket. Sprinkle contents of the spice packet over the brisket.

3. Stage

Cook on Low for 10 hours.

4. Stage

Remove brisket to a cutting board. Stir cabbage into the liquid and vegetable mixture remaining in the slow cooker.

5. Stage

Cook cabbage on High until tender, 30 to 45 minutes.

6. Stage

Slice corned beef and serve with cabbage mixture.
