Ingredients for - Southwestern Cactus Salad

1. Nopales - drained, rinsed, and dried 1 (16 ounce) jar
2. Chopped tomatoes 2 cups
3. Diced onion ½ cup
4. Jalapeno peppers, seeded and minced 5
5. Fresh cilantro leaves ½ cup
6. Lemons 2
7. Garlic salt (Optional) ½ teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Southwestern Cactus Salad

1 . Stage

In a medium size mixing bowl, combine cactus, tomatoes, onions, jalapenos and cilantro. Squeeze the juice from both lemons over the mixture. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Sprinkle with garlic salt (if you'd like) and serve.
