This amount of dough should make three cakes. For convenience, I draw a circle on parchment (you can simply circle the shape) about 28-30 centimeters in diameter. I pour a third of the dough into the center of the circle - it will spread, you can help it a little with a spoon, and immediately into a preheated 180 degrees oven for 15-20 minutes.

While the crusts are baking - let's do, so to speak, the forest itself! To do this, we pick strawberries and cut the most beautiful berries (about 1/3 of the total volume) into slices like these. The rest of the strawberries we just cut into slices of any shape and size. I want to tell you separately that the strawberries for this cake should be taken without barrels, only the first freshness, and if possible, not wrinkled!

Whip the cream (I whip chilled cream) with the powdered sugar, but keep your hand on the pulse - do not overbeat and do not turn it into butter. At the end we add vanilla and cognac.

Assemble our cake. The cakes should be cooled. Place a layer of whipped cream and strawberries on the cake

On the second cake layer of whipped cream, then pour a couple of tablespoons of sugar in crystals - it gives a beautiful caramel hue, and again a layer of strawberries.
