Ingredients for - Sweet and Sour Veggies

1. Water - ½ cup
2. White sugar - 1 cup
3. Red wine vinegar - ½ cup
4. Celery seed - 1 tablespoon
5. Red onion, thinly sliced - 1 small
6. Cucumbers, chopped - 2 large
7. Roma (plum) tomatoes, sliced - 6
8. Green bell pepper, diced - 1
9. Red bell pepper, diced - 1

How to cook deliciously - Sweet and Sour Veggies

1. Stage

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the water, sugar, vinegar and celery seed. Stir until dissolved.

2. Stage

In a medium-size mixing bowl, layer the red onion, cucumber, tomatoes, green bell pepper and red bell pepper. Pour sugar mixture over vegetables, cover and refrigerate overnight. Serve chilled.
