1. Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
2. Onion, chopped - 1
3. Sweet potatoes, peeled and chopped - 2 large
4. Carrots, chopped - 3
5. Garlic, minced - 4 large cloves
6. Garam masala - 1 tablespoon
7. Seasoned salt - ¼ teaspoon
8. Cayenne pepper - ⅛ teaspoon
9. Salt and ground black pepper to taste - ⅛ teaspoon
10. Chicken broth - 2 (16 ounce) cans
11. Water - 3 cups
12. Chopped fresh spinach - 4 cups
13. Red lentils - 1 ½ cups

How to cook deliciously - Sweet Potato and Red Lentil Soup

1. Stage

Heat olive oil in a pot over medium-low heat. Add onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add sweet potatoes, carrots, garlic, garam masala, seasoned salt, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes. Add broth and water. Bring to a boil and cook until flavors start to blend, about 10 minutes.

2. Stage

Add spinach and lentils; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer until lentils are soft, 15 to 20 minutes.
