1. Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
2. Milk - 1 cup
3. Butter, at room temperature - ½ cup
4. White sugar - 1 ½ cups
5. Large eggs - 4
6. Lemon extract - 2 teaspoons
7. Lemon zest - ½ teaspoon
8. Chopped fresh strawberries - 1 ½ cups
9. All-purpose flour - 3 cups
10. Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
11. Baking soda - ½ teaspoon
12. Salt - ½ teaspoon
13. Miniature semisweet chocolate chips (Optional) - ½ cup
14. Fresh strawberry - 12 slices
15. White sugar - 1 tablespoon

How to cook deliciously - Valentine's Day Strawberry Muffins

1. Stage

Mix lemon juice with as much milk as needed to measure 1 cup; let the soured milk stand for 5 minutes before using.

2. Stage

Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Line 24 muffin tins with paper liners.

Cream together the butter and 1 1/2 cups sugar in a large bowl.

Beat in the eggs, one at a time; add the lemon extract.

Gradually stir in the lemon zest and soured milk.

Gently fold in the chopped strawberries.

Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in another bowl.
