3. Shortening ⅔ cup
4. Vegan margarine ⅓ cup
5. Overripe banana, mashed 1
6. All-purpose flour 2 ½ cups

8. Baking powder 1 teaspoon
9. Salt ½ teaspoon
10. Water, or as needed (Optional) 1 tablespoon
11. Dark chocolate, chopped 3 ounces
12. White sugar ½ cup

1 . Stage

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Mix almond butter, brown sugar, shortening, and margarine together in a bowl until creamy. Stir in mashed banana.

Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Stir into almond butter mixture. Stir in water if dough appears too thick. Fold in dark chocolate.
