1. Vegetable oil, for frying 1 tablespoon
2. Pita breads, torn into pieces 2 small (4 inch)
3. English cucumber, finely diced 1 large
4. Halved grape tomatoes 3 cups
5. Chopped Italian parsley ¾ cup
6. Chopped fresh mint ¾ cup
7. Red onion, finely diced ½
8. Extra-virgin olive oil, or to taste 2 tablespoons
9. Fresh lemon juice, or to taste 1 tablespoon
10. Ground sumac, or to taste 1 teaspoon
11. Garlic, crushed, or more to taste 1 clove
12. Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste 1 clove
13. Sheep's milk feta cheese 1 ounce

How to cook deliciously - Arabic Fattoush Salad

1 . Stage

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Working in batches, fry pita pieces in hot oil until golden brown on both sides. Blot dry with paper towels and set aside.

2 . Stage

Combine cucumber, tomatoes, parsley, mint, red onion, olive oil, lemon juice, sumac, garlic, kosher salt, and ground black pepper in a large serving bowl. Gently toss salad with fried pita pieces. Grate feta cheese on top using a small cheese grater to serve.
