Ingredients for - Bacon Cheddar Pierogi

1. 1 lb. cheese pierogi -
2. 1 large head broccoli, cut into florets -
3. 4 strips bacon, chopped -
4. 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar -
5. Freshly chopped chives, for garnish -
6. Sour cream, for serving -

How to cook deliciously - Bacon Cheddar Pierogi

1. Stage

In a large pot of boiling water, cook pierogi until they are puffy and tender, 3 to 5 minutes. (The pierogi should rise to the top when they are ready.) During the last 2 minutes of cooking, add broccoli. Drain broccoli and pierogi together.

2. Stage

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy, about 6 minutes. Remove bacon and drain on paper towels.

Add pierogi and cook until golden, about 2 minutes per side, then stir in broccoli.

4. Stage

Stir in bacon, then cover pierogi and broccoli with cheese. Cover the skillet with a tight-fitting lid and cook until cheese is melted and bubbling, about 2 minutes.

5. Stage

Garnish with fresh chives and serve warm with sour cream.
