1. Butter, softened ⅓ cup
2. Packed brown sugar ⅓ cup
3. Sifted all-purpose flour 1 cup
4. Chopped walnuts ⅓ cup
5. Cream cheese 8 ounces
6. White sugar ¼ cup
7. Egg 1
8. Milk 2 tablespoons
9. Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
10. Vanilla extract ½ teaspoon

1 . Stage

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

To make the crust: Beat butter and brown sugar together in a large bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add flour and chopped nuts; stir until mixture becomes crumbly. Set aside 1/4 cup to use as a topping.
