1. Vegetable oil 1 tablespoon
2. Ground chicken 2 pounds
3. Pinto beans, rinsed and drained 3 (15 ounce) cans
4. Onions, halved and thinly sliced 2
5. Diced tomatoes with juice 1 (14.5 ounce) can
6. Mexican-style stewed tomatoes with chiles, undrained 1 (14.5 ounce) can
7. Water ½ cup
8. Brown sugar 2 tablespoons
9. Chili powder 2 tablespoons
10. Vinegar 2 tablespoons
11. Prepared mustard 2 tablespoons
12. Salt 2 teaspoons
13. Ground black pepper ¼ teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Chilly Day Chili

1 . Stage

Heat vegetable oil in a soup pot over medium heat. Cook and stir ground chicken in the hot oil until no longer pink and the chicken is crumbly, about 10 minutes. Drain.

2 . Stage

Stir in pinto beans, onions, diced tomatoes, Mexican-style stewed tomatoes, water, brown sugar, chili powder, vinegar, mustard, salt, and black pepper; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer chili until thickened and flavors have blended, about 3 hours. Stir occasionally and add extra water if needed.
