Ingredients for - Contadina® Quick Bolognese Sauce

1. Lean ground beef - 1 pound
2. Bacon, chopped - 3 ounces
3. Chopped onion - 1 cup
4. Sliced celery - ½ cup
5. Chopped carrots - ½ cup
6. COLLEGE INN® Fat Free & Lower Sodium Beef Broth, or red or white wine - ½ cup
7. CONTADINA® Crushed Tomatoes - 1 (28 ounce) can
8. Whole milk - ¾ cup

How to cook deliciously - Contadina® Quick Bolognese Sauce

1. Stage

Brown beef, bacon, onion, celery and carrots in a large saucepan over medium-high heat until browned and crisp, about 10 minutes.

2. Stage

Add broth; simmer until evaporated, scraping browned bits from bottom of pan.

3. Stage

Stir in tomatoes and milk. Simmer over medium-low heat until sauce is thickened, about 15 minutes. Serve over pasta.
