3. 2% milk - ¼ cup
4. Salt - ¼ teaspoon
5. Pinch ground black pepper - ¼ teaspoon

1. Stage

Cover potatoes with water in 2-quart saucepan. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered until potatoes are very tender, about 15 minutes; drain.
