Ingredients for - Country Style Green Beans with Red Potatoes

1. Smoked turkey tails - ½ pound
2. Green beans, drained and rinsed - 2 (14.5 ounce) cans
3. Onion, chopped - 1 large
4. Red potatoes, peeled and cubed - 10 small
5. Seasoned salt - 1 tablespoon
6. Ground black pepper - 2 teaspoons
7. Garlic powder - 1 tablespoon

How to cook deliciously - Country Style Green Beans with Red Potatoes

1. Stage

Place turkey tails and onion in a 4-quart Dutch oven and fill half way with water. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer over low heat until meat falls off the bones, about 2 hours. Remove and discard bones and skin; return meat to the pot.

2. Stage

Add green beans to the Dutch oven and simmer for 20 minutes, then add the potatoes. Simmer until potatoes can be easily pierced with a fork, 10 to 15 minutes longer.
