1. Light mayonnaise ¾ cup
2. Dijon mustard 1 tablespoon
3. Prepared horseradish 1 tablespoon
4. Garlic, peeled 2 cloves
5. Fresh lemon juice 2 tablespoons
6. Chopped fresh chives 1 tablespoon
7. Oil for frying 2 cups
8. Hush puppy mix 1 cup
9. Milk ½ cup
10. Egg 1
11. Cooked lump crabmeat 1 pound

How to cook deliciously - Crab Fritters

1 . Stage

In the container of a food processor, combine mayonnaise, mustard, horseradish, garlic, and lemon juice; process until well blended. Transfer to a bowl; stir in chives, cover, and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Heat oil in a heavy saucepan or deep fryer to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Stir together hush puppy mix, milk and egg until smooth; fold in crabmeat. Drop tablespoonfuls of batter into hot oil; fry until golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes, turning once if needed. Drain on paper towels. Serve fritters with garlic sauce.
