1. Bone-in pork chops - 4 (1-inch thick)
2. Real maple syrup - ¼ cup
3. Water - ¼ cup
4. Chopped onion - ¼ cup
5. White vinegar - 1 tablespoon
6. Worcestershire sauce - 1 tablespoon
7. Chili powder - ½ teaspoon
8. Salt and ground black pepper to taste - ½ teaspoon

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
