1. Cherry wood chips
2. Fresh oysters in shells, rinsed and scrubbed clean 12
3. Salt 2 pinches
4. Worcestershire sauce, or to taste 1 tablespoon

How to cook deliciously - Electric Smoker Smoked Oysters

1 . Stage

Preheat an electric smoker to 225 degrees F (110 degrees C). Add wood chips according to manufacturer's directions.

2 . Stage

Shuck oysters to remove top shells. Pour oysters and juice (liquor) into a bowl; add salt and let marinate for 20 minutes. Discard top shells and wash and save bottom shells.

3 . Stage

Drain oysters and discard juice. Place each oyster into a clean bottom shell.

4 . Stage

Place shells directly onto the grate of the preheated smoker; smoke for 1 1/2 hours.

5 . Stage

Remove oysters and shells from the smoker and set on a platter. Top each with a dash of Worcestershire sauce and serve.
