1. Bacon - 12 slices
2. Butter or margarine - ⅔ cup
3. All-purpose flour - ⅔ cup
4. Milk - 7 cups
5. Large baked potatoes, peeled and cubed - 4
6. Green onions, chopped - 4
7. Shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 ¼ cups
8. Sour cream - 1 cup
9. Salt - 1 teaspoon
10. Ground black pepper - 1 teaspoon

1. Stage

Place bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain bacon slices on paper towels; crumble and set aside.
