1. White sugar - 1 cup
2. Cornstarch - 2 tablespoons
3. Boiling water - 1 cup
4. Fresh strawberries, hulled - 2 ½ quarts
5. Pie shells, baked - 2 (8 inch)
6. Strawberry-flavored Jell-O gelatin mix - 1 (3 ounce) package

How to cook deliciously - Fresh Strawberry Pie with Jell-O

1. Stage

Whisk sugar and cornstarch together in a saucepan until completely blended. Pour in boiling water and cook over medium heat until mixture thickens, 5 to 10 minutes.

2. Stage

Remove from the heat and stir in gelatin mix until smooth. Let mixture cool to room temperature, 15 to 30 minutes.

While the mixture is cooling, place strawberries into baked pie shells with the points facing up.

Pour cooled gelatin mixture over strawberries and refrigerate until set, about 2 hours.
