2. Cornstarch 2 tablespoons
3. Boiling water 1 cup
4. Fresh strawberries, hulled 2 ½ quarts
5. Pie shells, baked 2 (8 inch)
6. Strawberry-flavored Jell-O gelatin mix 1 (3 ounce) package

1 . Stage

Whisk sugar and cornstarch together in a saucepan until completely blended. Pour in boiling water and cook over medium heat until mixture thickens, 5 to 10 minutes.

2 . Stage

Remove from the heat and stir in gelatin mix until smooth. Let mixture cool to room temperature, 15 to 30 minutes.

3 . Stage

While the mixture is cooling, place strawberries into baked pie shells with the points facing up.

4 . Stage

Pour cooled gelatin mixture over strawberries and refrigerate until set, about 2 hours.
