1. All-purpose flour - 4 ½ cups
2. Salt - 1 ½ teaspoons
3. Shortening - ½ cup
4. Water, or as needed - 1 ¼ cups
5. Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
6. Onion, chopped - 1 small
7. Ground beef - 1 ½ pounds
8. Paprika - 2 tablespoons
9. Cumin - 1 tablespoon
10. Ground black pepper - ½ teaspoon
11. Salt - 1 pinch
12. Raisins - ½ cup
13. White vinegar - 1 tablespoon
14. Hard-cooked eggs, peeled and chopped - 2 large
15. Oil for frying, or as needed - 1 quart
