1. 3/4 cup butter, softened -
2. 1 tablespoon lemon juice -
3. 1-1/2 teaspoons dried minced onion -
4. 1-1/2 teaspoons garlic salt -
5. 1-1/2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes -
6. 3/4 teaspoon dill weed -
7. 1/4 teaspoon sugar -
8. 1/4 teaspoon pepper -
9. 4 halibut or swordfish steaks, 1-inch thick -

How to cook deliciously - Grilled Halibut Steaks

1. Stage

In a small bowl, combine the first eight ingredients; let stand for 30 minutes. Spread 1 tablespoon herbed butter over each halibut steak.

2. Stage

Using long-handled tongs, moisten a paper towel with cooking oil and lightly coat the grill rack. Grill fish, butter side down, covered, over medium heat or broil, buttered side up, 4 in. from the heat for 5-1/2 minutes.

3. Stage

Spread 1 tablespoon herbed butter over each halibut steak; turn and spread with remaining butter. Grill or broil 5-6 minutes longer or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
