Ingredients for - Grilled Lemongrass Chicken

1. Shallot, minced - 1
2. Lemongrass, peeled and chopped - 2 stalks
3. Thai bird's eye chile pepper, seeded and chopped - 1
4. Garlic, chopped - 1 clove
5. Grated ginger - 1 teaspoon
6. Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
7. Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
8. White sugar - 1 tablespoon
9. Oyster sauce - 1 ½ teaspoons
10. Skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips - 1 pound
11. Skewers - 1 pound

How to cook deliciously - Grilled Lemongrass Chicken

1. Stage

Pound shallot, lemongrass, chile pepper, garlic, and ginger into a coarse paste in a mortar and pestle. Mix in fish sauce, vegetable oil, sugar, and oyster sauce.

Place chicken strips in a large resealable plastic bag; add paste and toss to coat. Let chicken marinate in the refrigerator, at least 1 hour.

Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
