3. 4 cups mashed cooked butternut squash
4. 3 cups chicken broth
5. 2 cups unsweetened applesauce

9. 1 tablespoon lime juice
10. 1 teaspoon curry powder
11. 1/2 teaspoon salt, optional

In a Dutch oven, saute onions in oil until tender. Add the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Discard bay leaf before serving.
