Ingredients for - Hawawshi

1. Ground beef - ½ pound
2. Tomatoes, diced - 2
3. Onion, diced - 1 large
4. Green bell pepper, diced - 1
5. Paprika, or to taste - 1 pinch
6. Ground coriander, or to taste - 1 pinch
7. Ground cinnamon, or to taste - 1 pinch
8. Ground nutmeg, or to taste - 1 pinch
9. Salt and ground black pepper to taste - 1 pinch
10. Pita bread rounds, split - 5
11. Corn oil - 1 tablespoon

How to cook deliciously - Hawawshi

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).

2. Stage

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir ground beef in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes. Let cool slightly.

3. Stage

Mix cooked beef, tomatoes, onion, bell pepper, paprika, coriander, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and pepper together in a large bowl until well combined. Stuff mixture inside of pita bread rounds.

4. Stage

Brush tops with corn oil and wrap each in aluminum foil. Place on a baking sheet.

5. Stage

Bake in the preheated oven until toasted and vegetables are softened, about 30 minutes.
