1. Honey - 1 ½ cups
2. Water - ½ cup
3. Fresh lemon juice - ¼ cup
4. Grated lemon zest - ½ teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Honey Syrup

1. Stage

Combine honey, water, lemon juice, and zest in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until boiling. Continue to boil until mixture thickens and is reduced by a fourth.

Pour warm syrup over cake and allow to soak for a few minutes before serving.
