1. Garlic, top third sliced off and discarded 2 whole heads
2. Olive oil 2 tablespoons
3. Sea salt 1 tablespoon
4. Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cubed 5 pounds
5. Sour cream 1 cup
6. Butter 1 cup
7. Cream cheese 4 ounces
8. Salt and ground black pepper to taste 4 ounces

1 . Stage

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Place garlic heads in a baking dish and drizzle each with 1 tablespoon olive oil.

Bake in the preheated oven until garlic is soft and brown, about 45 minutes.
