1. 1/2 cup all-purpose flour -

6. 1/3 cup maple syrup -
7. 1 tablespoon cornstarch -
8. 3 tablespoons water -
9. 2/3 cup packed brown sugar -

How to cook deliciously - Maple-Glazed Pork Chops

1. Stage

In a large shallow dish, combine the flour, salt and pepper. Add the pork chops, and flip them over to coat both sides.

2. Stage

In a large ovenproof skillet, cook the chops in butter over medium heat until a thermometer reads 145°F, four to five minutes on each side. Remove the chops and keep them warm.

In the same skillet, bring the vinegar to a boil. Reduce the heat, then add the maple syrup. Cover the skillet and cook the syrup mixture for 10 minutes.

In a bowl, combine the cornstarch and water until smooth, then gradually add the cornstarch mixture to the maple mixture. Bring the liquid to a boil, then cook and stir until it thickens, about two minutes.

5. Stage

Place the chops on a broiler pan, then sprinkle them with the brown sugar. Broil them 4 inches from the heat until the brown sugar is melted, one to two minutes. Drizzle the pork chops with maple glaze before serving.
