Ingredients for - Mashed Parsnips

1. Whole milk - 5 cups
2. Parsnips, peeled and cubed - 10
3. Salt, or more to taste - 1 teaspoon
4. Butter - ¼ cup
5. Dried thyme - 1 teaspoon
6. Ground black pepper, or more to taste - ½ teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Mashed Parsnips

1. Stage

Pour milk into a large pot over medium heat; bring to a simmer. Add parsnips and salt. Cover and cook until parsnips are tender, 25 to 30 minutes. Drain parsnips, reserving warm milk in a separate container.

2. Stage

Mash together parsnips, 1 cup reserved warm milk, butter, thyme, and pepper in the same pot using a hand mixer or blender. Add more warm milk until desired consistency is reached. Season with salt and pepper.
