Ingredients for - Meze Fava Beans

1. Olive oil 3 tablespoons
2. Onion, chopped ½
3. Fresh fava beans, shelled 1 ½ pounds
4. Water 2 tablespoons
5. All-purpose flour 1 teaspoon
6. Boiling water 1 cup
7. Lemon juice 1 teaspoon
8. White sugar ½ teaspoon
9. Salt to taste ½ teaspoon
10. Chopped fresh dill ½ cup

How to cook deliciously - Meze Fava Beans

1 . Stage

Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onions; cook and stir until fragrant, about 1 minute. Toss in fava beans and cook until slightly tender, about 2 minutes.

2 . Stage

Mix 2 tablespoons water and flour together in a bowl; pour into the fava bean mixture. Add 1 cup water, lemon juice, sugar, and salt. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer until fava beans are very tender, about 5 minutes.

3 . Stage

Stir dill into the fava bean mixture; continue simmering until flavors are combined, about 2 minutes. Let cool to room temperature.
