Ingredients for - Mushroom and Rice Pilaf

1. Butter - 1 tablespoon
2. Chopped yellow onion - ¾ cup
3. Condensed beef consommé - 1 (10.5 ounce) can
4. Mushroom stems and pieces - 1 (7 ounce) can
5. Instant white rice (such as Minute®) - 1 ¼ cups

How to cook deliciously - Mushroom and Rice Pilaf

1. Stage

Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and saute until the onion has softened and turned golden brown, 5 to 8 minutes.

2. Stage

Add consomme and mushrooms; bring to a boil.

3. Stage

Remove from heat and stir in rice. Cover and let sit until rice has absorbed all liquid, about 5 minutes.
