2. Butter - ¼ cup
3. Instant minced onion - 2 teaspoons
4. Dried parsley - 2 teaspoons
5. Salt - 1 teaspoon
6. Ground thyme - ⅛ teaspoon
7. Milk - 1 cup
8. Instant mashed potato flakes - 3 cups
9. Sour cream - ¾ cup
10. Shredded Cheddar cheese, or to taste - ½ cup

How to cook deliciously - Nani's Mashed Potato Casserole

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Stir water, butter, minced onion, parsley, salt, and thyme together in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in milk. Mix in potato flakes; add sour cream and beat until fluffy. Pour potato mixture into a casserole dish and sprinkle Cheddar cheese over the top.

Bake until cheese is melted and bubbling, 15 to 20 minutes.
