How to cook deliciously - Peach jam

We put the peaches uncooked in the cauldron. Pour water. Cover with a lid and simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes.

The peaches will juice well.

Remove the lid and increase the heat and boil the peaches for 40 minutes. Until well-cooked.

Remove the rising foam. Purée the peaches with an immersion blender.

Pour in the sugar. Stir. Bring to a boil. Remove the foam.

Reduce the heat to a slow boil and boil the jam for 1.5 hours, stirring occasionally. The longer the jam cooks, the more often you need to stir.

The finished jam has the consistency of thick condensed milk.

Pour into sterile jars. Close with sterile lids. Turn over and leave for a few hours in this form. Do not wrap. After a couple of hours, put the jar bottom down to cool. The output is three half-liter jars.
