Ingredients for - Penne a la Vodka II

1. Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
2. Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
3. Whole peeled tomatoes - 1 (28 ounce) can
4. Chopped fresh basil - ½ cup
5. Salt and pepper to taste - ½ cup
6. Vodka - ¼ cup
7. Penne pasta - 1 pound
8. Heavy cream - 1 pint

How to cook deliciously - Penne a la Vodka II

1. Stage

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook garlic in olive oil until tender, 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in tomatoes, breaking up a bit with fork. Stir in basil, salt and pepper and simmer 15 minutes. Stir in vodka and cook 15 minutes more.

2. Stage

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.

3. Stage

Stir cream into sauce and cook 10 minutes more. Toss with hot pasta.
