3. Corn, drained - 1 (15 ounce) can
4. Navy beans, undrained - 1 (15 ounce) can
5. Chopped onion - ¼ cup
6. Dried parsley - ½ teaspoon
7. Ground thyme - 1 pinch
8. Salt to taste - 1 pinch
9. Crushed red pepper flakes, or to taste - 1 pinch
10. Hot pepper sauce (such as Tabasco®) - 2 dashes
11. Fresh parsley, chopped - 1 sprig

1. Stage

Heat broth in a saucepan over high heat. Add ham, corn, navy beans, and onion. Add dried parsley, thyme, salt, red pepper flakes, and hot sauce. Cook over high heat for 5 minutes. Reduce heat to low and cook about 5 minutes more. Finish with fresh parsley before serving.
