6. Fresh jalapeno pepper, diced - 1 medium
7. Onion, chopped - 1 medium
8. Garlic, minced - 4 cloves
9. Crushed tomatoes, with liquid - 1 (28 ounce) can
10. Black beans, drained and rinsed - 1 (15 ounce) can
11. Chili beans in spicy sauce, undrained - 1 (15 ounce) can
12. Whole kernel corn, drained - 1 (15 ounce) can
13. Tomato paste - 1 (6 ounce) can
14. Chili powder - 1 tablespoon
15. Dried oregano - ½ teaspoon
16. Ground black pepper - ½ teaspoon
17. Cayenne pepper, or to taste - ¼ teaspoon

1. Stage

Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Stir in zucchini, yellow squash, bell peppers, jalapeño, onion, and garlic; cook and stir until tender, about 5 minutes.
