1. Olive oil 1 tablespoon
2. Skinless, boneless chicken breast halves 2 ½ pounds
3. Skinless, boneless chicken thighs 2 ½ pounds
4. Diced green chile peppers, divided 2 (7 ounce) cans
5. Onion, diced 1 large
6. Garlic, peeled and chopped 1 whole head
7. Ground cumin 3 tablespoons
8. Limes, juiced, divided 2 large
9. Salt 1 tablespoon
10. Ground black pepper 1 tablespoon

How to cook deliciously - Shredded Slow Cooker Green Chile Chicken

1 . Stage

Place oil in the bottom of a slow cooker. Add chicken breasts and thighs, 1 can of chile peppers, onion, garlic, cumin, 1/2 of the lime juice, salt, and pepper.

2 . Stage

Cook on Low until chicken is falling apart, about 8 hours.

3 . Stage

Remove chicken and shred with 2 forks.

4 . Stage

Return chicken to the slow cooker. Add remaining chile peppers and lime juice; stir. Test flavor and season with salt and pepper to taste.
