1. All-purpose flour 1 cup
2. Light brown sugar ½ cup
3. White sugar ½ cup
4. Ground cinnamon ½ teaspoon
5. Ground nutmeg ¼ teaspoon
6. Salt 1 pinch
7. Butter, cut into pieces ½ cup
8. Chopped walnuts 1 cup
9. White sugar, or to taste ⅓ cup
10. Cornstarch 1 tablespoon
11. Ground ginger ½ teaspoon
12. Ground cinnamon ½ teaspoon
13. Apples - peeled, cored and chopped 6 cups
14. Lemon juice 2 tablespoons

How to cook deliciously - Slow Cooker Apple Crisp

1 . Stage

Make the topping: Mix flour, brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt together in a bowl. Add butter and mix with your fingers or a fork until coarse crumbs form. Stir in walnuts.

2 . Stage

Make the apples: Whisk sugar, cornstarch, ginger, and cinnamon together in a small bowl.

3 . Stage

Place apples in a slow cooker. Stir in cornstarch mixture. Add lemon juice and toss to combine. Sprinkle topping over apples. Cover and cook until apples are tender, on Low for 4 hours or High for 2 hours.

4 . Stage

Turn off the slow cooker, partially uncover, and let stand until topping has hardened, about 1 hour.
