Ingredients for - Slow Cooker Caribou Stew

1. All-purpose flour - ½ cup
2. Moose meat, cut into cubes - 2 ½ pounds
3. Vegetable oil, or as needed - 1 tablespoon
4. Beef stock - 4 cups
5. Potatoes, peeled and cubed - 3 large
6. Carrots, cut into 1-inch pieces - 4
7. Celery, cut into 1-inch pieces - 4 stalks
8. Onion, chopped - 1 large
9. Diced tomatoes with juice - 1 (14 ounce) can
10. Dried oregano - 2 teaspoons
11. Worcestershire sauce - 2 teaspoons
12. Dried thyme - 1 ½ teaspoons
13. Minced garlic - 1 teaspoon
14. Bay leaves - 2

How to cook deliciously - Slow Cooker Caribou Stew

1. Stage

Place flour in a shallow bowl; press meat into the flour to coat and shake off the excess flour.

2. Stage

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium; cook and stir meat until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes. Transfer meat to a large slow cooker. Pour beef stock over meat in slow cooker; add potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, diced tomatoes with juice, oregano, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, garlic, and bay leaves. Gently stir mixture.

Cook on Low for 8 hours.
