1. Chile sauce - 1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle
2. Grape jelly - 9 ounces
3. Lemon juice - 2 teaspoons
4. Lean ground beef - 1 pound
5. Onion, grated - 1 large
6. Egg, beaten - 1 large
7. Salt to taste - 1 large

1. Stage

Whisk together chile sauce, grape jelly, and lemon juice. Pour into a slow cooker and simmer over Low heat until warm.

2. Stage

Combine ground beef, onion, egg, and salt. Mix well and form into 24 1-inch balls. Add to sauce and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
