1. 2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour plus more for rolling out the dough -

3. 3/4 tsp. baking powder -
4. 1/2 tsp. sugar -
5. 1/2 c. warm water -
6. 2 tbsp. vegetable oil plus more for frying -
7. 2 tbsp. milk -
8. Warmed honey (optional) -
9. Ground cinnamon (Optional) -
10. Fine sea salt (Optional) -

How to cook deliciously - Sopaipillas

1. Stage

Mix the flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar in a medium bowl. Stir in the water, 2 tablespoons oil, and the milk with a wooden spoon, mixing until a dough forms. Turn out the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth, about 3 minutes. Cover dough with a bowl and let rest 15 minutes.
