1. Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
2. Beef sirloin strips - 1 ½ pounds
3. Soy sauce - ⅔ cup
4. Monosodium glutamate (MSG) - 2 teaspoons
5. Chicken broth - ⅓ cup
6. White sugar - ⅓ cup
7. Onions, sliced - 3 small
8. Chopped celery - 2 cups
9. Bamboo shoots, drained and chopped - 1 (14 ounce) can
10. Green onions, sliced - 4
11. Mushrooms, drained - 1 (4.5 ounce) can
12. Water chestnuts, drained - 1 (8 ounce) can
13. Cornstarch - 1 teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Sukiyaki

1. Stage

Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Brown beef in hot oil, then stir in soy sauce, MSG, broth, and sugar. Mix in onion and celery, and cook until tender. Stir in bamboo shoots, green onions, mushrooms, and water chestnuts. Reduce heat to medium, stir in cornstarch, and simmer until sauce is thickened.
