1. Bacon, chopped - 1 (16 ounce) package
2. Onions, sliced - 2 medium
3. Turnip greens, chopped - ¾ pound
4. Collard greens, chopped - ¾ pound
5. Mustard greens, chopped - ¾ pound
6. Chicken broth - 2 (32 ounce) containers
7. Water, or as needed - ½ cup
8. White sugar - 1 ½ tablespoons
9. Salt - 1 tablespoon
10. Garlic powder - 1 tablespoon

How to cook deliciously - Turnip, Mustard, and Collard Greens with Bacon

1. Stage

Saute bacon in a large stockpot over high heat for 5 minutes. Add onions and saute, stirring often, until transparent, about 5 minutes.

2. Stage

Add turnip, collard, and mustard greens, then pour in chicken broth. Add water, if needed, to cover. Stir in sugar, salt, and garlic powder. Bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and simmer until greens are tender, about 3 hours.
