1. Ground venison 1 ½ pounds
2. Onions, chopped 2 medium
3. Green bell pepper, chopped 1 large
4. Jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced 1 tablespoon
5. Garlic, minced 3 cloves
6. Crushed tomatoes 1 (28 ounce) can
7. Pumpkin Puree 1 (15 ounce) can
8. Chili powder ⅓ cup
9. Smoked paprika 2 teaspoons
10. Ground cumin 2 teaspoons
11. Ground turmeric 1 teaspoon
12. Chipotle chile pepper, ground 1 pinch

How to cook deliciously - Venison-Pumpkin Chili

1 . Stage

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir venison, onions, bell pepper, and jalapeno in the hot skillet until venison is browned and crumbly and onions and peppers are soft, 5 to 7 minutes. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add crushed tomatoes and pumpkin. Stir in chili powder, paprika, cumin, turmeric, and chipotle chile powder. Reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes.
