1. 3 cups uncooked yolk-free whole wheat noodles -
2. 1 pound lean ground beef (90% lean) -
3. 1 medium green pepper, finely chopped -
4. 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce -
5. 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce -
6. 1-1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning -
7. 1 teaspoon sugar, optional -
8. 1 package (16 ounces) frozen mixed vegetables, thawed and drained -
9. 1/4 cup minced fresh parsley -

How to cook deliciously - Weeknight Beef Skillet

1. Stage

Cook noodles according to package directions; drain. Meanwhile, in a large nonstick skillet, cook beef and pepper over medium heat 5-7 minutes or until beef is no longer pink, breaking up beef into crumbles; drain.

2. Stage

Add tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning and, if desired, sugar to beef mixture; bring to a boil. Stir in vegetables; heat through. Serve with noodles; sprinkle with parsley.
