Ingredients for - Almond Chicken Salad

1. Green onions, thinly sliced - 4
2. Carrot, shredded - 1 large
3. Red bell pepper, cut into 1/2 inch pieces - 1
4. Sugar snap peas, halved - ½ pound
5. Chopped, cooked chicken breast meat - 2 cups
6. Fresh cilantro leaves - ½ cup
7. Blanched slivered almonds, toasted - ½ cup
8. White sugar - 2 tablespoons
9. Distilled white vinegar - 2 tablespoons
10. Sesame oil - 1 ½ tablespoons
11. Teriyaki sauce - 1 tablespoon
12. Ground dry mustard - 1 tablespoon

How to cook deliciously - Almond Chicken Salad

1. Stage

In a large bowl, mix together the onions, carrot, red pepper, peas, chicken, cilantro and almonds. Set aside.

2. Stage

In a small bowl, whisk together the sugar, vinegar, sesame oil, teriyaki sauce and dry mustard until smooth. Pour over salad mixture and toss until coated. Serve in pita pockets or on a bed of lettuce.
