3. Chopped onion - 1 cup
4. Chopped green bell pepper - 1 cup
5. Garlic, minced - 4 cloves
6. Salt - 1 teaspoon
7. Ground black pepper - 1 teaspoon
8. Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
9. Cumin - 1 teaspoon
10. Ground ancho chile powder - 1 teaspoon
11. Ground cinnamon - ½ teaspoon
12. Diced tomatoes - 1 (15 ounce) can
13. Canned pumpkin - 1 cup
14. Mashed, seasoned sweet potatoes - 4 cups
15. Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon

How to cook deliciously - Autumn Sweet Potato Shepherd's Pie

1. Stage

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Cook ground turkey until browned, about 5 minutes. Reduce heat to medium. Stir in onion, bell pepper, garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, cumin, ancho chile powder, and cinnamon. Cook, stirring occasionally, until onion and peppers have softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in tomatoes and pumpkin. Top with mashed sweet potatoes and sprinkle with smoked paprika.
