How to cook deliciously - Beef Soup with Mushrooms and Barley
1. Stage
Dice the meat into one bite. Finely chop the onions, carrots, celery and garlic. Dice potatoes. Mushrooms are cut into halves or quarters, depending on size.
2. Stage
In a stewpan over high heat, warm 2 tbsp. vegetable oil. We put the meat and fry until golden brown on all sides, about 5 minutes. We shift to the pan.
3. Stage
Reduce the heat to medium. We put onion, carrots and celery in a stewpan. Stir fry for about 5 minutes. Add the mushrooms. Stir frying for another 5 minutes. We shift to the pot for meat.
4. Stage
Add garlic, barley, salt to taste. Pour the broth, bring to a boil. Cook over moderate heat under a lid until the cereal is ready and the meat is soft, about an hour. Add potatoes 20 minutes before cooking. Sprinkle with chopped dill before serving.
