1. Ground beef sirloin - 2 pounds
2. Onion, grated - ½
3. Grill seasoning - 1 tablespoon
4. Liquid smoke flavoring - 1 tablespoon
5. Worcestershire sauce - 2 tablespoons
6. Minced garlic - 2 tablespoons
7. Adobo sauce from canned chipotle peppers - 1 tablespoon
8. Chipotle chile in adobo sauce, chopped - 1
9. Salt and pepper to taste - 1
10. Sharp Cheddar cheese (Optional) - 6 (1 ounce) slices
11. Hamburger buns - 6

How to cook deliciously - Big Smokey Burgers

1. Stage

Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat.

2. Stage

Combine ground sirloin, onion, grill seasoning, liquid smoke, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, adobo sauce, and chipotle pepper in a large bowl. Form the mixture into 6 patties. Season with salt and pepper.

Place burgers on preheated grill and cook until no longer pink in the center. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C). Place a slice of Cheddar cheese on top of each burger one minute before they are ready.

Place burgers on buns to serve.
