Ingredients for - Very Special Spaghetti Sauce

1. Olive oil - ¾ cup
2. Garlic, minced - 8 cloves
3. Ground chuck - 3 pounds
4. Onions, chopped - 2 large
5. Green bell pepper, chopped - 1
6. All-purpose flour - ¼ cup
7. Dry red wine - 2 cups
8. Tomato sauce - 2 cups
9. Tomatoes, peeled and chopped - 4 large
10. Tomato paste - 2 (6 ounce) cans
11. Worcestershire sauce - 1 ½ teaspoons
12. White sugar - 2 tablespoons
13. Salt - 1 teaspoon
14. Cayenne pepper - 1 ½ teaspoons
15. Celery salt - 1 teaspoon
16. Dried oregano - 1 tablespoon
17. Dried basil - 1 tablespoon
18. Fresh mushrooms, sliced - 1 pound

How to cook deliciously - Very Special Spaghetti Sauce

1. Stage

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Saute garlic until golden brown. Stir in ground beef, onions and green pepper. Cook until beef is evenly brown, and onions are tender. Stir in flour until smooth. Stir in red wine, tomato sauce, chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce and sugar. Season with salt, cayenne pepper, celery salt, oregano and basil. Simmer for 3 hours. Stir in mushrooms at the end of cooking period.
