Ingredients for - Cheesecake in a Jar

1. Pecan shortbread cookies (such as Keebler Sandies), finely crushed - 6
2. Butter, melted - 2 tablespoons
3. White sugar - 2 tablespoons
4. (1/2 pint) canning jars with lids - 6
5. Sliced fresh strawberries - 12 ounces
6. Cream cheese, softened - 1 (8 ounce) package
7. White sugar - ½ cup
8. Fresh lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
9. Heavy cream, whipped - ½ cup

How to cook deliciously - Cheesecake in a Jar

1. Stage

Mix cookie crumbs, butter, and 2 tablespoons sugar in a bowl until combined. Divide mixture evenly among jars, about 3 1/2 tablespoons each, and gently press (do not pack) into bottoms.

Beat cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, and lemon juice in bowl with an electric mixer at medium speed until smooth. Fold in whipped cream and chopped berries; divide evenly among jars, about 1/2 cup each.
